Business travelers and Raiders fans find a location that "couldn't be more convenient" when they stay at this "acceptable" "older facility" that may "not be exciting", but nevertheless is a "comfortable", "well-maintained" stopover; you "never hear the jets" from the updated rooms with "improved bedding", plus there's a "large" gym, heated pool and "courteous" staff; just "beware of breakfast that tastes like it was made much earlier and reheated."

I liked our room on the third floor, Presidential Suite. The room was spacious and I loved the desk and two reading chairs.
The hotel staff needs a map of their floors. When I first asked for a quiet room, the front desk staff gave me a room right across from the vending machine.

I can't think of anything.
Parking fee, no mini fridge, no microwave, no free Wi-Fi in room, rooms not upgraded, complex is poorly laid out.
As far as Hilton Oakland Airport goes, it's a misrepresentation for them to be considered a 3-star hotel. I will never pick Oakland as a region again for fear that I will be stuck with the Hilton Oakland Airport property. There is no free Wi-Fi anywhere on the premises.I was so not happy about having to pay $30 more a night as an upsell that I went to the lobby and asked for the manager on duty. Pay parking, internet 49cents/minute, shuttle to train station is scheduled only and run at top of the hour only not flexible.
The hotel comprised of 5 three story building with pool outside no swimmers seen. Although the buildings look old, it's clean and well appointed inside, despite the yellow bath tub. It is near downtown Oakland, which is where I wanted to be.
Three stars don't fit this place. it is ok, but it is located, essentially, in the airport parking lot.

Oh, I liked the ants in my room! Nothing.
Most hotels these days have free WiFi and parking, well most of the other comparable hotels in the area do. This hotel did not.
The staff of this hotel is the only reason it stays in business.

The bed was very comfortable
The bathroom sink had hair in it. The toilet had scum under the ring.
